Along with a brand new trailer (embedded below), Electronic arts and Crytek have announced the Crysis 3 multiplayer beta.

Running on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, the two-week-long Crysis 3 open beta will begin January 29th and run through February 13th. Everyone can get in on the beta action, which is designed to give you a taste of the full Crysis 3 multiplayer experience, and help the development team collect your valuable feedback.

Electronic Arts and Danger Close Games recently announced that a Medal of Honor: Warfighter multiplayer beta would be available exclusively on the Xbox 360 “early October”. Today, an exact date has been revealed for the beta.

Speaking to Director of Programming for Xbox Live Major Nelson on his podcast, Medal of Honor Senior Designer Ben Jones revealed the Warfighter beta will start October 5th. So, in a mere four days you’ll be able to get your hands on the multiplayer portion of Warfighter before its October 23rd release date (26th in Europe). No details were given as to how long the beta will run for, though.

If you’re an Xbox Live Gold member you’re about to get the chance to play Medal of Honor: Warfighter before its release date in the name of beta testing.

Yesterday we wrote about how someone from Danger Close / Electronic Arts had accidentally posted a banner to Facebook a little too early. What we learned from that banner was that there is a Medal of Honor beta in the pipeline.

Those third party Twitter and Facebook clients that social media and community managers use can make posting something you didn’t mean to – or to the wrong account should you be using multiple – all too easy. I’ve done it myself… more than once. It also happened on the official Medal of Honor Facebook account today when a banner was posted advertising a Medal of Honor: Warfighter beta – then quickly removed.
