It has been a long road for Battlefield 3 since the game launched back on October 25, 2011. With several game-changing updates being released over the past 18-months or so, and the fifth and final expansion pack End Game being made available to the first subset of BF3 owners today (PS3 Battlefield Premium members, full release schedule here), it will soon be time to hand the baton over to Battlefield 4.

Black Ops 2‘s first map pack, Revolution – bringing new maps ”Downhill”, a snowy alpine chateau, “Mirage”, a sand-devastated luxury villa, “Hydro”, a massive hydroelectric dam in Pakistan, “Grind”, a skate park in Venice Beach, Zombie map “Die Rise”, plus a new weapon called the “Peacekeeper” – was released on the PlayStation 3 and PC today, one month after Xbox players got their hands on it. Capcom’s third-person shooter horror game Resident Evil 6 is to get some new multiplayer-based offerings next week in the form of a new game mode and the games third map pack.
Coming March 5th on PlayStation 3 and the 6th on Xbox 360 is Resident Evil 6′s third map pack, containing all previously-released add-on maps. Maps included in the map pack are Rail Yard, High Seas Fortress and Catacombs, plus Map Pack A (Requiem for Warm & Liquid Fire) and Map Pack B (Rooftop Mission & Creature Workshop).
