The latest of Halo 4‘s fortnightly playlist updates goes live tomorrow, June 17.

There are two new game modes to be added in Monday’s playlist update: Forerunner SWAT and Covenent SWAT. These new modes will “add new ways to rack up absurd amounts of headshots and good times,” according to the latest Halo Bulletin. Here’s the specifics:

Tomb Raider DLC Gets Split into 3 Packs

Crystal Dynamics has revealed that they are to bundle all of the Tomb Raider DLC in to three convenient packs. The “Tomb Raider Online Survival Pack” adds multiplayer characters and weapons to the game, while the “Tomb Raider Adventure Pack” comes with single player weapon upgrades, skills, and outfits. Lastly, the “Complete Tomb Raider Multiplayer Map Set” is available on Steam, bringing eight MP maps.

However, the team have got to be very careful when it comes to tuning Halo 4′s weapons because getting things wrong could mean making the whole multiplayer side of the game unbalanced. In order to make sure that they get it right first time, they are taking their time.

343 have been doing a good job so far keeping us in the loop regarding where they are at with the tuning and testing. In the latest Halo Bulletin, however, the developer said that they are nearing the end of tweaking and tuning each weapon and will be inviting a small group of community members into the studio to get a sneak peak at the new changes.
